Sea Crest Parent Education brings you  Social   Media  Trivia Night!

Thursday, April 27th, 6:30 - 8:00 p.m., Think Tank. Refreshments provided.

More than half of children have used a social network by age 10, yet only 20% of parents knew how to manage their children’s privacy settings. What are your kids getting into online? How much do you really know about the weird wide world of social media? Join us for the next Sea Crest Parent Education program where we’ll explore the topic of social media in a fun, engaging format (think: Jeopardy).

  • Test your knowledge of social media facts and figures (there will be a prize for the winner!)
  • Learn about popular sites, terms, and phrases (warning: some mature content)
  • Share your questions and insights with other Sea Crest parents (relax, you’re in good company)

Solar Energy Update: On

PG&E tested our  solar last week  and found no problems. Our  solar power  is now officially turned on. During this week, the meter is rolling backwards. W e are actually producing more energy than we are consuming!  Thanks to all who made this project a success!
Sixth Grade Hygiene Drive

Sixth Grade students are currently running a hygiene drive alongside Coastside Hope. When donating to charity, most people give things like food, clothes and toys, but forget about basic hygiene products that we all take for granted, such as toothpaste, shampoo, and deodorant. Students are coordinating with their assigned teachers. The deadline is April 28th. Please be on the lookout for an email with the sign ups for your grade level, or contact Katie Moore with any questions.
Important Reminder: Our school day begins at 8:15 am .

Please do everything you can to ensure your child arrives to school at or before this time.  Arriving on time allows your child to ease into the day gracefully, and helps us all make the most of our day . Thanks for your continued support!
