 Management for Church Leaders Summer Institute with Kellogg School
Business savvy and theology dovetail this summer in an innovative one-week leadership program offered in partnership with the Kellogg School Center for Nonprofit Management at Northwestern University.
The Seabury Nonprofit Management Institute, June 13-17, is a custom educational program tailored to meet the distinctive needs of lay and clergy leaders. It is taught by tenured and core professors and practitioners at Kellogg, which is ranked among the top five business schools in the United States and is known throughout the world for its emphasis on teamwork, collaboration and interactive learning.

 Partnership with Bexley Hall Begins Center for theological education in Midwest
On February 10 at a joint meeting, the boards of Seabury and Bexley Hall in Columbus, OH ratified a joint operating agreement through June 30, 2012. During that time, a joint trustee committee will draft proposals for a permanent partnership between the two Episcopal seminaries.
"This partnership forms an innovative, flexible theological center in the Midwest," said Robert Bottoms, Seabury's interim dean and president. "We will educate clergy and laypeople to lead a rapidly changing church and realize efficiencies from streamlining operations while preserving our distinctive traditions and characters."

Study with Bishop Griswold
Praying Shapes Believing
Laypeople and clergy are invited to join Bishop Frank T. Griswold at Seabury for a three-weekend exploration of Anglican spirituality and the rhythm of our worship. Praying Shapes Believing will include reading and reflection with a community of students led by Bishop Griswold, who is the former Bishop of Chicago and former Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church. The course draws on his book, Praying Our Days, published in 2009. Learn more here.

Scholar Douglas Hicks In Cincinnati
How can we work together to foster civic values that include our core American commitments to religious freedom and mutual respect?
Hicks, Professor of Leadership Studies and Religion in the Jepson School of Leadership Studies at the University of Richmond, will give a free public lecture and hold a day-long workshop for civic, corporate and church leaders. Both events will take place at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Montgomery, Ohio.
