2016 Annual Chamber Banquet and award nominations
Mark your calendars! The Annual Chamber Banquet is Nov. 22. Nominations are now being accepted for Business of the Year, Emerging Business of the Year, Community Partner of the Year and Chamber Volunteer of the Year.

Searcy Leadership Institute kicked off last month with the program’s largest class at the Searcy Regional Chamber of Commerce and Camp Wyldewood for team building exercises.
The State Chamber/AIA is pleased to offer “Arkansas Tax Traps and Found Money for Businesses and Manufacturers,” a half-day program highlighting often-overlooked traps and opportunities in Arkansas taxes and incentives.
Issue 3 will be on the November General Election ballot and, if approved, will give more control over economic development to local governments such as the Searcy City Council and the White County Quorum Court. The Chamber and SREDC Board endorsed approval of this issue and encourages members to become more familiar and to vote FOR this issue in November.
The Searcy Regional Economic Development Corporation recently announced the Holiday of Lights lighting ceremony will take place Nov. 22, 5 p.m. at Berryhill Park and 6 p.m. at the historic downtown court square.
