Jobs for Arkansas Issue 3

Issue 3 will be on the November General Election ballot and, if approved, will give more control over economic development to local governments such as the Searcy City Council and the White County Quorum Court. The Chamber and SREDC Board endorsed approval of this issue and encourages members to become more familiar and to vote FOR this issue in November.

Stay updated about the stores that sent a letter of intent and plan on opening a store in Searcy.
Pool Updates
The new Searcy pool plan experienced a few bumps in the road, but still plans on opening by summer 2017.

Walmart Job Fair

In Partnership with the Arkansas Department of Workforce Services, there will be a Job Fair at the Walmart Distribution Center on East Booth Road. This event will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 7th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
