Teachers know how important it is to personalize learning - but what does personalized learning look like in practice? Register for the 2018 Better Together: California Teachers Summit and learn how to give students choice and voice in their learning.

This year's theme, "It's Personal: Meeting the Needs of Every Student," focuses on personalized learning, both for teachers and the students they serve. Teachers who attend the summit will strength their professional network, share resources and walk away with strategies and tools for increasing engagement and generating better outcomes.

This event is free for all California Pre-K-12 teachers, teacher candidates, school administrators and other educators. A full program agenda will be available in the coming weeks.

With school violence on the rise there are many different and often controversial solutions being offered. What can you, the educator, do right now to increase the odds of surviving an active shooter or other violent event on campus? How can you increase the odds of helping your students survive?

Join Adam Coughran, President of Safe Kids Inc. and creator of the H.E.R.O. Program to learn simple strategies you can use in your school.
