We will be celebrating the Third Sunday of Easter this week. We will encounter Jesus coming to the disciples after the resurrection. At fist they think he might be a ghost... but ghosts don't need earthly food. Through a meal of broiled fish, the disciples eyes are opened to the reality that this truly is the risen Christ. They are empowered by this visitation to begin their ministry of calling all persons to follow the way of Jesus. What happens next? We'll soon see.

This week we will also receive a special offering for Native American Ministries within the United Methodist Church. I'll be sharing a bit about our Native American heritage during our time with the children during he 11:00 am service. Come and worship with us and invite someone new to celebrate with us!! That's how you can help us make disciples of Jesus Christ!
