Round Table Discussions

We are pleased to be returning with our second Green BIM conference but with the added bonus of a new venue in the heart of Leeds.

Again we will be blending together the themes of sustainability and technology to deliver another great learning and sharing event.

We are delighted to have secured another strong line-up of speakers and round table facilitators to lead the open and honest discussions around applying Green Building and BIM thinking in the construction and assembly phase of a project.

Our super-informative half day conference features interactive roundtable workshops and an opportunity to ask key questions to experts in their respective fields of construction.

Here's a peek at what we will be covering in the afternoon!

Government Keynote

Anne Kemp, BIM4Infrastructure, UK BIM Task Group

UK Keynote

Richard Watson, Executive Director, RIBA Enterprises

International Keynote

Dr James Harty, Copenhagen School of Design & Technology

Anne Kemp, Director Atkins Global
Anne is responsible for driving the behavioural change in Atkins to allow the business to embed digital workflows through their processes.  Come and find out how you can do the same for your business, how to begin by planning for change and what needs to be done to ensure that the benefits are achieved.

Richard Watson, RIBA Enterprises
Being advertised as the last pieces of Level 2 BIM, Richard will be showcasing the new, government funded, NBS online Digital Toolkit.  Here is your chance to see what the tool can do and how it will impact on the industry in the years to come.

Craig Sewell, Brand and Marketing Director at Cubicle Centre

As both a representative of manufacturers and SMEs, Craig is a champion of BIM to drive business improvement.  His workshop will focus on how a business can adopt BIM on their own terms, create the right BIM content that helps specifiers and customers alike and especially how to make it pay.

Louise Collins & Will Leighton, Hobson and Porter
A fantastic opportunity to see how another one of our local SMEs has grabbed the BIM initiative and implemented this in their business.  Hobson and Porter have successfully completed the NFB BIM Champions Programme so if you want to learn the lessons from a construction and maintenance business that is implementing BIM then this is for you.

Janet Beckett, Carbon Saver UK
As a Chartered Building Services engineer, steering group member of BIM4SMEs and a key voice on BIM, Building Services and Sustainability we are pleased to have the current hot area for BIM debate (Product Data Templates) in a safe pair of hands. Everything you ever wanted to know about PDTs but were afraid to ask - the answers will be here!

This not-to-be-missed event will offer presentations, workshops, quick fire Pecha Kuchas and the opportunity to network over a great buffet

and a pint of Yorkshire real ale.
