Committee of 100 - Project Lead the way
The Enid Chamber Committee of 100 provides an opportunity for members to make an additional contribution that is designated for a local educational purpose.

In recent years contributions have provided financial support for important local educational causes such as concurrent enrollment, college scholarships and the Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics Regional Center.

This year the contributions will support "Project Lead the Way" in Enid Public Schools. This program is specifically for science, technology, engineering and math curricula for students and training for teachers.

Thank you to our members who have supported this year's Committee of 100 project!

Tell us four of your favorite things: Asian foods & spicey foods, listening to stories and choir, Thunder, reading
What would you do with 30 minutes of free time? Check emails, online correspondences, Tai Chi, read, check on people who needed my help
What makes you unique? Love listening to peoples personal stories and concerns and love finding ways solving them. I believe that everyone is created equal and must be treated fairly and equally. I love to work and serve the community that I live in. I am a bilingual speaker and love history.
Favorite thing about Enid? Great community - loving people and a diverse community. This community knows exactly how to work together in harmony! I love everything about Enid! I feel like it is my second home. Enjoy so much the partnerships and coalition building society.

SUSAN SHEWEY   Hometown: St. Louis, MO
Family: Married 28 years to my husband, Brian. We have three daughters: Megan (age 23), Katie (age 20), and Rachael (age 18).
Occupation/Profession: I am a trust administrator in the Financial Services department at Central National Bank.
Tell us four of your favorite things: The mountains of Colorado, Evenings when all three daughters are home with Brian and me, the sanctuary of First United Methodist Church on a Sunday morning, Brian's "bruschetta burgers."
What would you do with 30 minutes of free time?
I would read! (while also probably starting a load of laundry and checking the score of the St. Louis Cardinals baseball game!)
What makes you unique?
I've raised three daughters and don't have gray hair....yet!!! And...I think I am very empathetic while also being very analytical. And...I get to be married to my best friend. Maybe that's not as much unique as it is blessed!
Favorite thing about Enid? My favorite thing about Enid is the sense of community and "connectedness." The people we work with and go to school with are the people we see at church and in the grocery store and at community events. I believe this community has given my daughters an identity and a confidence in who they are that will serve them well throughout their lives.
