Understanding how to interpret and apply the Old Testament Prophets

The Old Testament prophets begin with Isaiah and end in Malachi. These portions of Scripture are some of the most beautifully written and most often quoted in churches and in pop culture. However, the prophets are also some of the most misunderstood and misinterpreted books of the Bible. At this special praxis we will try to give you the tools to read and understand each of the prophetic books in context.

We will answer questions like:
Who was the prophet?
What was the purpose of prophecy?
What prophecies were fulfilled and when?
What prophecies are yet to be fulfilled?

Pastor Brent Rood will be leading this 2 hour praxis on Wednesday, October 22nd, 7-9pm.

Childcare is available ($5/per child)

Please email info@dyingtolive.org to reserve your child a spot.

"Unless a seed falls to the earth and dies, it remains alone.

But if it dies, if produces a rich harvest. Anyone who loves his life,
loses it. But anyone who despises his life in this world,
will keep it all the way to eternity."    ~Jesus
