Seed Events & Gatherings             October 30, 2014

Seed Community Groups are gatherings where people can learn, live, and grow together in their knowledge and experience of the gospel. Our community groups are designed to foster discipleship by embracing, embodying, and exposing the gospel. Our groups are also staging grounds for empowering missional activity within the community as well as outside of it.

The ministry of Jesus was a ministry of community, so it comes as no surprise that we were created for community. At Seed Church our community gatherings are places where seekers and believers-and even doubters-can come together to experience Christian community. If you would like to be involved or inquire about a community near you, please click here .

If you've been attending a short time, and would like to learn more about Seed, please come to the Newcomers Lunch immediately following the service on November, 2nd. Elders and Deacons will be there to answer all your questions and to get to know you. There is no childcare for this, but your whole family is welcome to attend.

Please e-mail info@dyingtolive.org
if you plan to attend so that we can be sure to have enough food.

The Hazelwood Elementary School homework club is starting up Tuesday, November 4th.

We are looking for volunteers who can help students with their homework on Tuesdays from 4-5 pm.

If you can't commit weekly, we can use you in whatever capacity you are able. Contact Christy Rood at info@dyingtolive.org if you're interested.

This class is a requirement for anyone who wants to become part of the membership core at Seed.

In the class, you'll learn the history, philosophy
and doctrine of Seed, as well as the covenant requirements for becoming a member. The class will be from 9 am to 2 pm with lunch included. Childcare will be provided on an as-needed basis, with a cost of $5 per child.

Sign up by emailing
info@dyingtolive.org
so that we can have enough printed materials and lunch ready.

In your email, please note whether you'll be needing childcare.

When:  Saturday, November 8th from 9-2pm

"We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.  If we have been united with him like this in his death, we will certainly also be united with him in his resurrection."
Romans 6:4-5

If you are interested in being baptized  or are just interested in learning more about what the Bible says about baptism - please email info@dyingtolive.org to sign up for this class which will be held on Sunday, November 23rd, after service.   All who want to be baptized must attend this class.

"Unless a seed falls to the earth and dies, it remains alone.

But if it dies, if produces a rich harvest. Anyone who loves his life,
loses it. But anyone who despises his life in this world,
will keep it all the way to eternity."    ~Jesus
