New feature:  traffic assistance while guests are exiting the parking lot!

Many mentors have experienced, at one time or another, a mentee who just couldn't sit still, had endless energy, and lacked the ability to focus.  While these behaviors are sometimes associated with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), the disorder itself is much more complex and requires careful consideration. Read more

The summer months can drag on when you're counting down the days to when you can see your mentee again.  The Summer Pen Pal approach is a great remedy, and only requires a little advanced planning.  Read more

            QUESTION OF THE MONTH

How can I help expand

                  my mentee's horizons?

A fun and educational way to inspire your mentee to consider the world outside his/her door, is to encourage exploration and discussion of different places, cultures, and customs.

By simply using a globe, a computer, or a library book, mentors can broaden their mentee's outlook on life and promote new possibilities.  Watch your email this month for ideas from your Mentor Director on ways to spark your mentee's curiosity about the world around us.
