Our 2014 International Artist-in-Residence Open Call for Texas Artists application is available for download online.

Artists living and working in the Lone Star state are invited to submit material for this call. Applicants will be considered for our statewide shortlist, which 2014 guest curators will use as a tool to select Texas residents for that year.

The 2014 Open Call closes at 5pm on August 28.

2012 CHALK IT UP
CALL FOR ARTISTS

Artpace is currently seeking artists in Bexar County to participate in our 9th Annual Chalk It Up event on Saturday, October 13, 2012.

Chalk It Up is a free, family-friendly arts festival that takes place annually on the second Saturday of October. Artpace invites premier area artists to transform downtown San Antonio sidewalks into colorful works of art. This community event is an opportunity for locals and tourists alike to appreciate your artwork, explore contemporary art, and participate in our city's creative resources. Chalk It Up drew more than 18,500 San Antonians to downtown Houston Street last year, and we look forward to an even larger crowd this October.
