FIRE IT UP
Ceramic Tile Workshop at Self Help Graphics
Self Help Graphics & Art is thrilled to offer a Ceramic Tile Workshop this summer with artist, Wayne Perry. Participants will learn a brief history of ceramic art & techniques and be shown examples of use in public art.
Wayne Perry is an accomplished painter and ceramist having worked on many public art projects with Frank Romero, Peter Schire, Kim Abeles, and Judy Baca.
The kiln that students will be using is very special to Self Help Graphics & Art. In November 2011, Paul Polubinskas, partner to the late Teddy Sandoval, donated this very special kiln to us in honor of Teddy. We are so grateful to have the opportunity to share Teddy's legacy in this way.
