August 2017
Marin's Favorite Social Club for Folks with Memory Loss
Lots of happy activity in and around Senior Access.
Fun at Senior Access
At The Club we do a variety of activities to gladden the heart and feed the soul, not to mention stimulate the brain.

According to the National Center for Creative Aging, "Research has shown that mental activity stimulated by arts activities can be especially beneficial to people with dementia and Alzheimer's disease."

We put the fun in our program with live music, dance, art and more. If you know of a group like our dancers at right (photo), that would like to donate a performance, please let us know! We love to have our Club members enjoy a variety of the arts.
Thanks to Ruby
Ruby Beallo has been a long time supporter and employee of Senior Access. After many years as a volunteer and Program Assistant at various times, she has left us for new adventures.

August 15 the staff and Club members had a little send off celebration for Ruby. Thank you Ruby!
In Search of a Karaoke Machine
Our seniors not only like to listen to music, especially our live performers, but sing out as well!

Do you have a karaoke machine gathering dust in a corner of your house? We're looking for a donation so we can enjoy singing even a larger repertoire of songs, and have large follow along text on our TV screen.

Contact our Activity Director, Amy Takemoto if you can donate a machine at 415-491-2500 x160 or atakemoto@senioraccess.org
