Enriching lives since 1967...

It's hard to believe, but this year Community Thread is celebrating 50 years of service to the greater Stillwater area. A vital part of our work, our Senior Center, was established in 1972, and our Bayport Senior Center site opened in 2000.

Every day, people rely on our Senior Center program for socialization and wellness. Our activities, held at both our Stillwater and Bayport locations, offer an engaging setting for participants to gather for fun and fellowship, such as:
  • A new Zumba® Gold class in addition to our popular aerobics class
  • New outings and experiences, including kayaking and trolley tours
  • Support and wellness groups, including the Living Well with Chronic Conditions series and Better Balance classes
  • AARP Smart Driver classes and free tax preparation assistance
  • Social and recreational activities, including holiday gatherings and card games
But we can't provide these services without your financial support . We depend on gifts from our community to deliver quality programming designed for older adults. Please make a donation today to support local seniors - so we may all live engaged and active lives in our community.

Thank you for your support of Community Thread and our Senior Center program.

Warmest regards,
