On his work, Wilkinson writes: "The environment is very strong yet quite fragile for human life. As man impacts nature ever more significantly the environment responds unto its own rules, which are and will be even more detrimental to man's life on this planet unless humans change. This paradox is something that intrigues me. My paintings attempt to capture the sense of majesty and power produced by nature and the irony of man's supposed dominance over it."
