Watauga County Public Library Newsletter                                           September 2017
Dear Friends,

September is a great month to get your library affairs in order , as it is the start of the school year and happens to be Library Card Sign Up Month!
Did you know that with your card you have access to NC Live online resources, popular E-books through Overdrive , and  NC Kids Digital which has E-books for children?
Get your library card in September and be entered into a raffle to win two tickets to High Gravity Adventures! Kids can win a family pack of tickets to Mystery Hill.
September 15 - October 15 marks National Hispanic  Heritage Month which aims to celebrate and bring awareness to the cultures of Latin America. We plan on having a bilingual storywalk at the library, flag identification scavenger hunt of the eight countries that celebrate the anniversaries of their independence, and a cultural evening with poetry, music and food on Thursday, October 5.
Stay tuned!
~ Hasta pronto~
