ACNE SOLUTIONS
For people of all ages, acne can be embarrassing and socially stressful. For normal acne, chemists and dermatologists continue to develop increasingly effective acne solutions such as combination therapies of retinoids and topical or oral antibiotics. (Some acne solutions are now formulated for specific types of skin.) For severe cystic acne, a prescription medication, Isotretinoin, can be highly effective under your dermatologist's careful monitoring. Please view Dr. Derick's short video, Acne Solutions to learn more.

DAILY PROTECTION FROM UV LIGHT
Dr. Derick reminds everyone that, even as temperatures drop, wearing sunscreen should still be a daily habit. Anytime you are outdoors, remember to apply one-ounce of broad-spectrum (UVA and UVB protection) sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 to the face and body--and re-apply it every two hours.
