Westminster Moves Up in Rankings

For the 20th consecutive year, Westminster College has been ranked as a "Best Regional University" in the West by the national publication U.S. News and World Report. In the 2015 U.S. News edition, Westminster was ranked 20th in the Regional Universities-West category (up two slots from 2014) and was again included as an "A+ School for B Students" as well as a "Best Value" college.

Westminster Thinks BIG

Well Check for Parents of First-Year Students
Have you filled out a parent contact form? Are you the parent of a first-year student at Westminster College? Then be expecting a phone call from a Westminster faculty or staff member at the beginning of October during Westminster's Well Check. We'll be calling you to answer your questions and gather feedback from you on your student's Westminster experience so far.
Griffin Swoop-Ins

At Westminster College we take great pride in connecting with our students. On the evening of October 7 faculty, staff, and alumni volunteers will visit students in the residence halls (students are notified about this event). These annual "swoop ins" give volunteers the opportunity to listen to students and address any concerns they have.

Supporting the Westminster Community

Philanthropy is part of our culture at Westminster College because a large part of the Westminster experience is made possible by philanthropic gifts. Funding for scholarships, operations, and so much more comes from a wide variety of people, each with a different relationship to the college.
As generous as Westminster's community of donors is, there remains unfunded opportunities for students. You will hear from us throughout the year via emails, phone calls from our student calling program, and mailings with information about ways in which you can help. We will share the need for scholarship support, as well as educate you on how donations help us retain and recruit excellent faculty, enhance Griffin Athletics, and provide student development programs. Be assured that we will put your donation to use immediately, ensuring students' needs are met both in and out of the classroom.
