FROM THE ED's DESK

Dear LGBTQ Community:

I am elated and thankful to have been appointed Executive Director of Queens Pride House (QPH) by its Board of Directors.   My special gratitude to Pauline Park and Charles Ober for their tenacity and devotion over the past nineteen years at building QPH and keeping the dream alive.  The staff at QPH have welcomed me with open arms and have demonstrated clarity in purpose at continuing to build QPH.

As QPH and Hispanic AIDS Forum (HAF) join efforts, we will work tirelessly to continue building a strong LGBTQ community, strengthening our families, caring for our children, youth and elders, and providing support to all who make up our ranks to live their lives to the full potential.

As a gay man and a social worker, I don't know of any other job that I would rather do.  It is truly an honor, a privilege and a blessing to get do what one truly loves.

My promise to you is to work with resolve, purpose and conviction to continue to build a Pride Center worthy of your patronage and support.

Please visit and say hello.

Estimada Comunidad LGBTQ,
