October Masterworks Concert Guest Artist - Pianist Wael Farouk.
October Masterworks Concert Preview
    Join us on Saturday, October 28 at UW-Parkside's Frances Bedford Concert Hall for first Masterworks Concert of the Season. Wael Farouk, Carthage professor and world-touring pianist, joins us as the Guest Artist at this Concert and 2017 Artist-in-Residence during the fall. Mr. Farouk and the RSO will perform Haydn's Symphony #86 in D and Chopin's Piano Concerto #1 in D.
     PreConcert Conversations, led by UW-Parkside's Professor Laura Rexroth, begins at 6:30 pm and the Concert itself begins at 7:30 pm in Bedford Hall.
     Tickets are $23 in advance and $25 at the door. As always, students 20 and under receive free general admission.

Music Education Program Season Kickoff

Students enjoying our most recent Concert for Fifth Grade Students on March 14, 2017
   
     The kiddos are back in school (or soon will be). Fall also marks the official start of our music education programs for the Season. We are thrilled to continue to offer a plethora of options to students of all ages.
     Our current programs include the Concert for Fifth Grade Students, Young Artists' Competition, Side-by-Side Youth Invitational, Artist-in-Residence, High School Choral Invitational, PreConcert Conversations and the evolving Middle School Mentorship Program. Patron donations and grants allow us to continue to offer all but one of these programs free of charge. (The Young Artists' Competition requires a small entry fee.)
