Date/Time: Tuesday, September 11, 18 and 25, 5 - 6pm

Location: 3300 Falls Road, Baltimore

Pet Pals is a program that will benefit children and also benefit the pets waiting to be adopted. It helps reinforce to children that pets should be loved and treated kindly while they continue to strengthen their reading skills without being judged on their reading abilities. The pets enjoy the company, and it reduces stress in pets who may be anxious in a kennel environment. There is no fee for this event, but space is limited to 10 youths per week and registration is required. Participants are encouraged to bring their own books to read. The Maryland SPCA may take and use photos of the event for marketing purposes.

Ages: All ages are welcome. Each child must be accompanied by an adult.
