CDA Comments on Proposed X-Ray Regulation Changes

The CDA recently submitted feedback regarding proposed changes and updates to x-ray machine regulations for healthcare providers. The CDA's comments aim to make the revised regulations as reasonable and streamlined to implement as possible for dental offices. Read more.
New Rules on SDF Application by Dental Hygienists Take Effect

New rules governing the application of silver diamine fluoride (SDF) by dental hygienists have officially taken effect as of Aug. 14. Under the new rules adopted by the Colorado Dental Board, hygienists can now apply SDF when working in collaboration with a licensed dentist. See the full list of requirements.

CDA Comments on State Medicaid and CHP+ Dental Vendor Rebidding

The CDA recently submitted comments to the Colorado Department of Healthcare Policy and Financing (HCPF) regarding the rebidding process for Medicaid and CHP+ dental vendor contracts. While the state currently contracts with DentaQuest for Medicaid and Delta Dental of Colorado for CHP+, the agency plans to use one administrative service organization as the vendor for both programs.

The Colorado M ission of Mercy

COMOM needs volunteers to provide donated dental treatment and services Nov. 2-3 in Greeley, CO. About 1,000 clinical and non-clinical volunteers are needed to make this year's event a success. Join us at this life-changing event.
