TCC Women's Bible Study Began This Morning ...
It's Not too Late to Register!

Women's Bible Study (WBS) will begin with the book Fearless Daughters of the Bible by J. Lee Grady, using it to illuminate what the Bible has to say about how God enables his daughters for amazing outcomes, allowing us to courageously endure and rise above challenges.  In the late winter and spring we will examine the Book of Philippians and its emphasis on the joys of the Christian life.   Philippians brims over with often quoted passages; come and discover-or rediscover-truths you can hide in your heart and revisit repeatedly.
Our teacher, Loralie Crabtree, is an ordained minister who moved to New England with her family in 2014. One of her passions is communicating what God reveals about Himself through the narratives of women in the Bible.
WBS meets every Thursday from 9:15-11:00A, September 17- April 14.  Cost is $50 for the year.     Click here to register on-line.

Questions?  Contact Sue Wiggill  OR Amy Canute at [email protected].

Volunteer Opportunities

TCC runs on volunteers! Please visit the TCC "How to Serve" webpage at http://www.tccwayland.org/serve.php for more information.   Here are a few current opportunities:

Additional Ushers Still Needed...

Our mission:  To welcome every visitor and member to the house of God!

What is needed: Ushers are absolutely critical in helping newcomers form their first impression of TCC. You help set the tone for the worship experience to come. You are representatives of God's kingdom.  You're not just opening doors, providing information, handing out bulletins or collecting the offering, you are making people feel welcome!

Could you help 1 Sunday morning a month?  Please contact Debbie Wilson at [email protected] or 508-358-7717.

Volunteer Offering Counters Needed ...

Are you accurate and reliable?  Volunteers count the weekly offering (mostly checks for deposit) each Sunday, and we are in need of new helpers.  Offering counters work in pairs.  Contact Aimee Mury at [email protected] or 508- 358-7717, x303 if this might be a way you could help us.  Training provided!

Coffee Hour needs YOU!

If you enjoy having a cup of coffee while chatting with others after Sunday service, please sign-up (alone or with your Small Group) to host a coffee hour! Currently, no one is signed up.

You don't even have to provide snacks - just make, set up and then clean up the coffee and tea! (Easy instructions provided - click here to see what is involved!)

Participation gives you and your group an opportunity to serve the Lord and is greatly appreciated by your fellow members. Please sign up at the Connection Hub this Sunday or contact the church office.

Thanks for reading and hope to see you this weekend.
Sincerely,

Debora Wilson
