How to Get a Library Card
From September 1-30, each time you check out items from either of our library locations, you'll find a prize entry form at the bottom of your receipt. Enter it for a chance to win an iPad (one of two) in a random drawing on October 2 .

Encourage someone you know, who lives in Hancock County, to get a new library card. Those who apply for the FIRST time will be eligible to enter a second drawing for one of five $20 Walmart gift cards on October 2.

Cool City Band debuts at the library with a night featuring two talented singers backed by horns and a rhythm section. They'll perform classic rock 'n' roll and Motown as well as standards from the "Great American Songbook" by Cole Porter, Hoagy Carmichael, Duke Ellington and other favorite artists.

Experience camp life with the 49th Indiana Volunteer Infantry during this event for people of all ages.

Dress in military uniforms, see Civil War-style tents and equipment, watch practice drills and make a button craft from the time period. There will also be musket-firing demonstrations.
