Message From the President
Help us get the word out!

As summer turns to fall, we're working on our seasonal celebrations and our 2019 Visitor Guide. Help us celebrate our community and share our community with others by sending us your information!
Christmas Event Information Wanted
It is way too soon to think about Christmas! However, it is not too soon for us as a community to look at the calendar and schedule our holiday events. We will be creating a brochure to promote Christmas and Holiday events taking place in Seneca County.
Please send us all the pertinent information by October 1, 2018.
Please think of what you did last year for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Did you do something special for Thanksgiving? Did Santa make a visit to your store? Dust it off, revise, update with 2018/2019 dates and send this information to us as soon as possible.
“Fall” in Love with Tiffin Festival & Christmas Fest
Tiffin will be celebrating its first “Fall” in Love with Tiffin event on November 17. The event is a one day festival that will encompass the Tiffin area. The Chamber encourages all businesses to be a part of this event in some way.
The event will be used to promote small business and any future events that may be happening. Businesses are encouraged to have open houses, preview specials for Small Business Saturday happening on November 24, or any other special event of your choosing. The goal of this fall festival is to join both the community and businesses of Tiffin and the surrounding areas.
Tiffin and surrounding areas will also be hosting a Christmas Festival beginning November 30 and ending December 2. This three day event encourages all of Tiffin to join the holiday spirit. There will be hands on activities for people of all ages. The goal of this event is to deliver a unique Christmas experience for the entire community.
For any questions or concerns email Deb Martorana or call 419-447-4141.  RSVP today! If your business is located in Seneca County and you would be interested in participating in a “Fall” in Love with Seneca County Festival, please send an e-mail to Deb.

Superior Credit Union: Ribbon Cutting, August 24, 2018
Tim Horton's: After Five, August 29, 2018

On Wednesday, August 29, 2018, Tim Hortons in Tiffin hosted the business After Five event. We provided samples of our 8 different varieties of Timbits, our seasonal lemon poppyseed bread, as well as our chili, mac and cheese, and variety of panini’s and hoagies. We really wanted to focus on our lunch and dinner items, as we are so much more than the delicious, coffee and donuts that most people recognize us as!
With the help of Shannon Smith, and Ethan White (who is also our employee of the month) we had a great time showcasing our products and our restaurant. Sales are up, and only increasing over last year, and I owe that to my strong, dedicated staff, (that we are always looking to add positive additions to) as well as the community positively promoting us! I look forward to what this upcoming year has in store for us!
