Pavilion Rental at Governor Lawton Chiles Memorial Park
Located adjacent to the South County Civic Center in Delray Beach, the park features a beautiful and spacious rental pavilion that accommodates up to 200 people. A softball field is available to permit with your pavilion rental. Petanque and bocce courts are also available on a first-come, first-served basis. Click here for pavilion rental information.
Docents Needed for the DuBois Pioneer Home
The DuBois Pioneer Home at DuBois Park, Jupiter is in need of docents to carryout tours for the public between 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Registration begins Mon, Sept 17 for youth volleyball at West Boynton Recreation Center, Lake Worth. League runs Oct 16-Dec 19. Games are Tues & Wed, with the first one on Nov 6. Ages 8-17, $60/person.

Palm Beach County Ocean Rescue Scores Historic First Place Win at USLA Regionals
The 2018 United States Lifesaving Association Southeast Regional Championships were held at Flagler Beach on July 26 and July 27. This competition was attended by 22 beach patrols from the Southeast Region with some of the best open water athletes in the nation. Palm Beach County Ocean Rescue was supported by 16 competitors who volunteered their time and resources to represent the county. Read more .
