Happy, Free Dogs!

Fall is certainly in the air in our neck of the woods and with the chilly, rainy season upon us our thoughts, as always, are with our Fidos; those inside the safe confines of their new fences and those eagerly awaiting their freedom. We have a busy fence-building schedule ahead as we work to get waiting dogs off the chain.

We've recently unchained several dogs, including Zeke, Chucky and Chata, Skobiat and Temprest, Chase and Lobo and dear Drake!  You can watch the first minute of Drake's freedom and ensuing zoomies in this wonderful video snippet.

Ways of Giving

Our supporters help our Fidos in so many different ways. And in the recent months, we've discovered a variety of easy giving opportunities, including employee matching and contribution programs, and online and retail fundraisers.

Every dollar we receive goes to help our Fidos by purchasing fence and shelter building materials, providing critical veterinary care (including spaying and neutering), bedding and food for needy dogs. No matter the amount, your donations not only provide these necessary tangible goods, but hope, comfort and solace for the dogs in our community. You do make a difference, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Happy Girl Baking

The tastiest of our fundraisers, fabulous baker Lori Chambers of Happy Girl Baking creates treats and donates the profits to Fences For Fido. Her blog lists prices for pies, cakes and treats for personal order. Lori also holds bake sales throughout the year to help our dogs in need! Lori isn't a commercial bakery, she simply bakes from her home because she loves it AND she adores dogs which is why she donates to FFF. She is also willing to take requests! With the holiday season quickly approaching, consider Happy Girl Baking for your parties!
