This series will begin in
September with local resident
Srdjan Perisic discussing
"Everyone Communicates,
Few Connect" 
Srdjan's lecture is based on the
books by John Maxwell
which have helped hundreds
of people be more successful
in business and their personal
lives.  Srdjan has many years experience as a healthcare
professional, lecturer, life coach,
trainer, and inspirational speaker.
This program is free and open
to the public.

display in the Children's Room

  Trails and Sails Event in Middleton!



Sunday, Sept. 24 at 1:30am
Urban Walk of Historic Landmarks    

Join us for a short urban walk
(1/2 mile total)

We will gather in the Trustees Room
at the Flint Public Library
to view the stunning stained glass
windows and learn a bit about
Charles L. Flint. Then it's off to the  
historic Tramp House in Middleton,
one of the few tramp houses that is 
still standing. On the way we will
stop at the Estey Tavern for a brief guided
tour and learn a bit of Middleton history. 
At the Tramp House participants
will be able to tour the inside of the building. On the way back, we will pass more 
historic landmarks and end the tour at
the Lura Woodside Watkins Museum.
(adjacent to the Flint Public Library) Participants may view the museum's  
collection and learn about Lura Woodside 
Watkins, the first president of the
Middleton Historical Society.
