September 2016

Follow us:

Wow, it's September!

Summer is almost over and our new Year-Round Programs begin the week of September 12th. If you haven't registered yet, please do so.

I'd like to give a warm goodbye to Courtney Runft as our registrar and Education Associate. Well, it's not a complete goodbye as she is staying on as a teacher, but it is time to thank her for 10 years of dedication and excellent work well done. We are very proud of her and wish her well with future endevors.

Now, let me be the first to say congratulations to our mentor, our first lady of tap dance, the incredible Brenda Bufalino! On Tuesday, October 18th, she will be receiving the 2016 Bessie Award for Lifetime Achievement!

I/We could not be more proud, and this is SO well deserved . And what a great statement for the field!

So, get your tickets to the show asap. We want a BIG turnout of tap dancers to show our support.

Meanwhile, I will be appearing at the annual Career Transitions for Dancers Gala on Tuesday, September 26th along with select dancers from the ATDF.

Be sure to check out our website for future updates and detailed schedules.

Finally, if you have any questions concerning schedule, scholarships, TCYE auditions or registration, feel free to contact us at (646) 230-9564 or you can email: [email protected]
