DRIVER'S ED CLASS OPPORTUNITY 
Newton Driving School will offer a class for US students at Beaver this fall . (Students must be 15 years nine months by Sept. 19.)
  • The class will meet from 6-8 p.m. in at Beaver in room 215. There are 15 classes total, starting on September 19 and ending on November 13. 
  • The cost is $650, which covers all classes and driving hours.

MS PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES
Middle School fall Parent/Teacher Conferences start Wednesday, October 11 and continue on Friday, October 13 and Tuesday, October 17.
  • Wednesday, October 11 Conferences only, no school for students
  • Friday, October 13: Conferences and classes, students have school as usual
  • Tuesday, October 17: Conferences only, no school for students


US PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES
Upper School fall Parent/Teacher Conferences start Wednesday, October 11 and continue on Tuesday, October 17. As a reminder, there are no classes for students on both of these days. Students at NuVu have regular days with normal bus service.


PSAT INFORMATION FOR GRADES 10 & 11
On Wednesday, October 11, Beaver is administering the PSAT exams for students in grades 10 and 11 at Beaver.  NuVu students will also be taking the PSAT and will not be going to NuVu on this day.  Please make sure your student arrives at school by 7:45 a.m. with several #2 pencils and a calculator.

We will be kicking off the year by talking about what sets Beaver apart: our mindset, our approach and a few highlights of what your students will be experiencing this fall. A handful of key members of the faculty and staff will be introduced and then we’ll break off into smaller groups for more detailed information. R+D CENTER OPENING RECEPTION
Join us on September 26 from 6:30 p.m. to celebrate and explore the R+D Center @ BVR. You'll hear from Head of School Peter Hutton on how the R+D Center will expand the nature of school for our students. In addition, keynote speakers Andrew Kim   and Frank Graziano,   lead education researchers   from Steelcase, will present on the future of work and learning. Visit the event page to RSVP .
2017-2018 PERFORMING ARTS
The Beaver Performing Arts Department is excited to announce the 2017-2018 season. The fall season begins with the MS play,  A Wrinkle in Time , on October 26, followed by the US play,  Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead on November 9.
