I can't tell you how daunting it was to me the first time I came to Heron Creek Yoga.. I'm not a flexible person that is very good at turning my mind off - just to say the least. I've discovered the many misconceptions that I've had about yoga just by stepping into the front door of Heron Creek Yoga. I came to yoga after being diagnosed with epilepsy and followed the advice of my neurologist to learn to meditate and practice yoga. Let me tell you - in just two weeks I had really fallen in love. I bought a yoga mat, I bought the Lululemon- I even watched videos online to learn more. I had major hip pains for years that keep me up late at night and since I've started yoga - I haven't had those pains. It's fantastic. A major relief. The instructors at Heron Creek Yoga are wonderful. They really care about each and every person in the class and go out of their way to make sure that you do every pose correctly - that you are constantly learning. One instructor even spoke to me about how much progress I was making and recommended I take the Yoga Teacher Trainer, which was a major confidence builder. There is an amazing community at Heron Creek Yoga that I have immensely enjoyed becoming a part of. I'm so glad I stepped out of my comfort zone and gave it a try. I suggest that everyone do the same, come out to Heron Creek !!
