Serve Day a Win-Win for GFU and Newberg Public Schools
Nearly 60 of our GFU Elementary Education students along with faculty performed 360 one-on-one assessments to evaluate the skills of incoming kindergarten students. This also included logging the data from the scores that consisted of 7,000 data points. This saved the district close to 80 hours of teacher time and 15 hours of data entry. While helping the district to meet this new assessment mandate it also gave the students some hands on experience working with students, assessment and data entry. A great partnership was realized!

Parents often ask about the transitions that their family and their George Fox student will be facing during that first year of college. While we always welcome any questions you might have, we also wanted to provide you with this guidebook as a helpful resource. It is a privilege to work with your students and our hope and prayer is that this time of transition will be as seamless as possible!
