Join us and follow the words of St. Guido M. Conforti to "Make of the World One Family!"
Why must we go out to the far ends of the world to preach the Gospel of Jesus when people do not have to know Jesus in order to enter the house of God? We must go out because we want to share with all people the abundant love and hope, joy and peace that Jesus brought to us. We want to "proclaim the unfathomable treasure of Christ" and "throw light on the inner workings of the mystery kept hidden through all ages in God, the creator of everything" (Ephesians 3:8-9).  What we have received is so beautiful and so rich that we cannot hold it for ourselves but feel compelled to bring it to every human being on earth. ~  Henri Nouwen

Ongoing Formation in Asia
The Xaverian superior delegate presented the five attitudes-values the Xaverians live by (community, contemplation, friendship, simplicity, and creativity), the five areas they are involved in (pastoral work, culture, social, inter-religious dialogue, and charismatic family); and what kind of people they are looking for (people "crazy" about the non-Christians, committed to "work" together, with a profound faith and a solid human formation and with an "expertise"). The presentation was followed by a very alive session of questions and answers. Keep up with the sessions here.

Associate movement sees future rich with hope
Associates, aka affiliates, are women and men, married or unmarried, who answer the Gospel call to holiness by formally associating themselves with a religious community. The mission, spirituality, or charism of the community is what draws an associate in, and also what animates the covenant or promise an associate takes in their mutual relationship with the community.
