Dear Y Friends, I am so excited about the many new programs and offerings the Y has launched as we start the new year. You have asked for more classes, variety and extra support to achieve your goals. We have responded. We now offer over 3,000 various classes every month throughout our YMCAs and are launching the new LIVESTRONG® program for cancer survivors. With the help of hundreds of volunteer coaches, the YMCA-UC Junior Bearcats program is keeping kids active and fit, while learning good fundamentals and character values what we want to see in all our student athletes. Because of all these programs and so many more, I know 2016 will be a healthy and happy year for us all! Together we are also adding smiles to the faces of kids, thanks to adults who volunteer and bring a listening ear and caring support. Sometimes the smiles that shine through are because a member who lives alone, or one who is looking for a group that can help them stay on track, finds the Y and now considers the Y family. What great reasons to celebrate and smile. Won’t you invite someone to join us? The Y community is a family, and when we support and serve each other, smiles abound. Here’s to a great year and here’s to you may you continue to find new friends, support, health and happiness through the Y! Be Well - Sandy Berlin Walker President and CEO

That, coupled with the great facilities the Y has, made for a perfect fit.” READ MORE |
