Summer is here, the heat is intense, but it is a great time for an indoor sewing escape....
This Sunday, we are holding a class called "All About Stabilizers" for the beginning to advanced embroidery enthusiast. We will show what stabilizers to use, and when, from knits to working on wovens, and even cover toppers and how you can use stabilizers in your regular sewing as well. Sunday afternoon, June 11th, Noon to 3pm. All only $5.
Florida Row by Row, 2017, starts on Wednesday, June 21st. We think our row is 'out of this world' this year, with an easy to assemble rocket and vinyl pocket to insert your favorite space man / woman.
On Thursday, June 22nd (day after RxR starts), we will hold a workshop for any Row By Rower to help with construction of any of the rows you have already collected.
Just to keep everyone 'hopping', Sew Central will be also participating in the Star Shop Hop starting July 22nd - a hop that will include stores throughout Orlando and the neighboring
communities

Summer Camp: Skort

Learn to make an easy-to-wear skort this summer. This two day class will have you looking so stylish you will be looking forward to the start of the school year so you can show off your creation (well, maybe not really looking forward to the start of school, but you understand!). A skirt with a pair of shorts underneath is really easier to make than you think!

Embroidery Block of the Month
My Garden Journal

Sew Central is excited to present our newest applique embroidery block of the month! This applique block of the month series features Anna's Awesome Applique "My Garden Journal" and they are some of the most beautiful embroidered blocks we have ever seen digitized. These blocks are larger than most embroidered applique blocks making them perfect for framed art. And because they are larger, students will learn how easy the multiple hooping technique can be.
June Block of the Month is "Patriotic Petunias"
Minimum hoop stitch area is 8" x 12"

It's time to make a few new items for your summer wardrobe. And what better way to do it than with a new tunic. They're the latest rage in ladies ready-to-wear and so easy to make.
Each month, Jane will feature a different style tunic in Sew Central's new Tunic garment classes. Using the new "The Tunic Bible" (comes with pattern), students will gain experience with using different plackets, collars, sleeves and cuffs.

Breakfast Strip Club

Start your weekend off right and join us for our monthly Breakfast Strip Club - Sew Central's fun quilting club! All lectures and demos are free to attendees. There will be special pricing at each club meeting. There will be a quilt associated with each month's strip set but you'll need to attend to see it revealed.

Attention all Sew Central Machine Embroiderers! Sew Central presents our new KimberBell Embroidery Projects Series. Great, fun ways to sharpen your (or learn new) embroidery skills!
Each month a new machine embroidery project will be taught and you will be delighted with how quick and easy each of these projects are! No project uses a hoop larger than a 5" x 7". You will bring a few simple basic supplies and Sew Central will provide the scraps for your projects How easy is that!
In June, we are going to help you with your summer decor with this easy-to-make candle mat.
Supplies: 5 x 7 hoop, two fat quarters of choice, embroidery threads, Angelina Fiber and fibrous water soluble stabilizer.

Kids Sewing Class
Every Tuesday and Wednesday Afternoons
Every Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon, kids get together for sewing lessons with Ms. Jane or Ms. Nancy. Tuesdays are normally for beginners, and Wednesday for the more advanced sewing enthusiasts. Join the fun!
