Whew...OK, hopefully we are done with hurricanes for this year. Time to get back to sewing. Fortunately, with a little prep work (and a lot of plastic), Sew Central came through the storm without a problem - not a single item wet or damaged.
As a result, we are having a "Back To Sewing" sale this weekend. 20% off all regularly priced fabric, notions, kits...and more. We also have restocked our bargain room. Saturday and Sunday only.
And yes - we are open now on Sunday, Noon - 4pm. Even changed the front door sign, so we are going to keep those hours for awhile. Be sure to stop by.

Breakfast Strip Club

Have you heard about it yet? It's the Breakfast Strip Club - Sew Central's newest quilting club! Best of all - lecture and demo is free to attendees. There will be special pricing at club meetings - 3rd Saturday of each month. There is a quilt associated with each month's strip set but you'll need to attend to see it revealed.

Christmas
Exchange Quilt
Saturday, Oct 29nd, 10am to 3pm
Come with a sense of adventure and fun as we exchange fabrics to make a lovely Christmas throw-size quilt. Each participant will bring four 1 yard pieces of quality cotton quilting fabric that will be cut into 2 1/2" strips (56 strips). During class, you will trade your fabric with all the other students. Your "jellyroll quilt" top will then be completed in class.

Got Christmas fabric scraps? Need a hostess gift? Sew Central's Holiday Scrap Crazy Placemats has the perfect gift idea for you. Students will use the easy-to-learn Creative Grids "Scrap Crazy" rulers to make the crazy quilt part the placemats. Feel free to bring an embroidery or applique to use on your placemat. A basic Christmas applique design will be available for use if class time permits.
