Summer Yoga beginning July 13th, led by Debby Abramson. Ten one-hour sessions on Tuesdays at 12:30 p.m., Thursdays at 4:00 p.m. Classes are located in the JCC Yoga Studio

The second ever Michigan Jewish Food Festival is a celebration of food, spirit, justice, families and health! Taste what our tradition has to offer. Cooking demos from internationally acclaimed chef and author, Joan Nathan, The Gefilteria's Liz Alpern, and our own Hiya Gebreyohannes from Taste of Ethiopia. Participate in Do It For Detroit - an annual event supporting local initiatives promoting Detroit food justice and alleviating hunger.
Activities for all ages including a new family tent, fresh produce, honey tasting, and really good food. Visit the workshop and speaker tents and learn What the Torah says About the Commercial Consumption of Meat with Aryeh Bernstein from the Jewish Institute for Animals. Hear from experts on health and meet the community leaders of Detroit's visionary Food and Urban Farming Movement.
