Rabbi Mitch Parker will officiate at Shabbat Morning Services.
We will honor immediate past president, Frank Ellias during the course of shabbat morning services.  Kiddush Lunch is sponsored by the Ellias children: Jared, Valerie, Aaron, Meira, Benji and Matthew and an anonymous donor.

SNL Saturday Night Learning will be at the home of Cheryl and Rabbi Mitch Parker at 8:30 p.m.  Please rsvp to Rabbi Parker: mitch@bnaiisraelwb.org if you plan to attend.

Bring a dairy or pareve picnic dinner.  Join us for Shabbat camaraderie and fun.  All ages welcome.  No rsvp necessary. If it is raining, please enjoy your dinner at home.


Shabbat TableNEXT SHABBAT FOR SOLOS:  June 22nd.  
Whether you are single, widowed, divorced, separated or merely alone on a particular Shabbat, join old friends and meet new ones at our once-a-month Friday evening dinner hosted on a rotating basis at members' homes.   We will enjoy a kosher pot-luck dinner with Kiddush, camaraderie and conversation.

Michigan Jewish Food Festival
BI and TKA at the Michigan Jewish Food Festival
Sunday, August 26th 11 a.m.-4 p.m., Eastern Market, Detroit
B'nai Israel Synagogue and Temple Kol Ami will once again share a table at this event.  We will be weaving our synagogues together as we weave rugs on hula hoops!   We need your unwanted (clean) t-shirts of all colors to use for this activity. Please drop them off at the collection box outside the TKA office by July 27th.

Adult Learning Opportunity
Talmud Class with Rabbi Mitch Parker
