BOMBSHELL: The Hedy Lamarr Story
February 18, 4:30 p.m.
The film explores how the Austrian-Jewish émigré actress was known more for her looks, but she should have been known for her brains. During her Hollywood heyday, she was working on ideas and inventions originally intended to thwart Nazi communications. These ideas laid the foundation for technology developed by companies like San Diego's Qualcomm.
