A Special Thank You from the Israel Defense Forces to Our Community
We are proud to share this kind thank you letter from the Israel Defense Forces for raising over $2,000 for the IDF Iron Dome Unit in this special fundraising project of our Federation in collaboration with Friends of the IDF (FIDF). With the funds we raised, FIDF provided much-needed kitchen items including microwaves, electric kettles and toaster ovens for isolated outposts of the IDF's Iron Dome battalion. Thus summer during Operation Protective Edge, Iron Dome units intercepted 735 rockets that would have directly endangered the lives of countless Israeli civilians. We can be proud that we helped support the soldiers of the Iron Dome unit while they protected the skies over Israel.
