The Great Challah Bake!

Join women and girls from the Michiana area while we prepare delicious challah to bake in your own home after rising. Learn about the deep meaning of this special mitzvah reserved for Jewish women while you knead and braid the dough. Feel the power as we participate in the special bracha on challah together.

Shabbos

You are invited to immerse yourself in the beauty and sanctity of Shabbos by joining other Jews who would like to share the Shabbos experience. 

Please call hosting coordinator, Bina Margulies at 574-251-9569 if you'd like to join a Shabbos observant family for Shabbos. She will be happy to find you a place to stay for the duration of Shabbos.   Shabbos is for every Jew wherever you are. Invite your friends and family to share Shabbos with you. Havdallah Event

Join us for a transcendent Havdallah event on Saturday night, October 24 at 8:45 PM at The Federation. Experience the moving Havdallah service after Shabbos ends, bringing us from the spiritual high of Shabbos, which carries us through the week. RSVPs are not required, but please contact Andee Yormark or Shira Zeiger if you know you plan to attend so we can plan for the event. Walk-ins are welcome.
