August on the Farm

Dear friends & family,
The end of summer on the farm, and what a wonderful ending for this Oklahoma summer!  Much needed rain has been falling over the last two weeks!  We are so grateful!  The temperatures have been cooler for the sheep, and there is a promise of a fall hay cutting for the first time in many years.  As the gentle rains fall from heaven, may the Lord gently reign in our lives.

Stop by and visit the farm this summer.  We are open Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 8:30 - 5:30.  The consignors have some wonderful new products in the shop, and there is much to see and do around the farm.

 Sheep Shearing School

Friday & Saturday September 20 & 21
Learn how to properly shear a sheep in record time, care for the fleece and how to keep your back from hurting while shearing!  Professional shearer Israel Vasek will be the primary instructor for this class.  Israel shears over 10,000 sheep per year & is carrying on the family legacy.
