Louise Carver gets a Billboard #1

South African singer Louise Carver saw her single 'Sunrise' a collaboration with US DJ Joe Bermudez take the coveted #1 spot on the Billboard 'Dance/Club Play' charts.

An incredible achievement for a South African artist as the chart celebrates the most popular songs played in dance clubs, compiled from reports from a national sample of club DJs, with Joe Bermudez and Louise Carver getting more plays than singles from the likes of Justin Timberlake, Calvin Harris, Nick Jonas and Ariana Grande.

"Joe and I worked on the track 'Sunrise' in Boston and spent many long hours in studio getting it right. Just knowing that people are enjoying it makes us so happy. I love working with Joe because we both are all about the music and the journey it takes us on," comments an ecstatic Louise Carver.
