Resolution opposing LSGWC- Council tabled a resolution to oppose the Lone Star Groundwater Conservation District proposed rate increase. The resolution will be brought back to the July 12 meeting for action. Vote was 5-0.
Unclaimed Property to Texas Comptroller- Council approved the submission of $17,643.82 of unclaimed funds to the Texas Comptroller. Vote was 5-0. ,
Approval of SPD fuel charges- Council approved the 4th quarter fuel purchases budgeted at $15,300. Vote was 5-0.
Street lights at David Memorial Dr. extension - Council approved the addition of 3 lights to the Phase 1 extension. Vote was 5-0.
Ratification of April Accounts Payable- Council approved the ratification of May accounts payable with a vote of 5-0.
Annual employee criminal background checks - Council discussed and tabled action on annual criminal background checks of all employees. Policy will be brought back in July for action. Vote was 5-0.
Accounts payable process - Council discussed the current accounts payable process. Staff was requested to bring back policy with explanation and documentation. No action taken.
Departmental reports - Council received monthly reports from Administration, Finance, Capital Projects, Public Works, Building, CVB and Police departments.
Sign Ordinance - Council discussed the city sign ordinance for open houses. No action taken.

Avenida Brazil Brazilian Steakhouse permit- Council approved a zoning alcohol permit for the new business located at 1400 Research Forest. by vote of 5-0.
Toddler Park fencing - Council approved the construction of a fence at Toddler Park by vote of 5-0.
NCAA ticket sale reimbursement - Council approved the reimbursement for ticket sales from the Swimming and Diving Championships in March by vote of 5-0.
Minutes Approval - Council approved minutes of the regular March 8 workshop, the regular April 12 workshop, the regular April 26 meeting, the regular May 10 meeting and the regular May 24 meeting by vote of 5-0. Minutes from the March 22 meeting were approved with corrections by 4-0 vote with 1 abstaining.
Engineering for wetlands phase of east side relief pond - Council approved the Bleyl & Associates engineering proposal for the east side wetlands permit phase by a 5-0 vote.
David Memorial Drive Extension Phase 1 landscaping- Council approved a proposal for David Memorial Roadway Extension Phase I landscaping project with 5-0 vote.
Tamina Road/David Memorial Drive engineering- Council approved engineering for the intersection to improve mobility. Vote was 5-0.
Three-way stop at Grogan's Mill/Wellman Road - Council discussed 3-way stop signs. Council sked staff to inquire about new traffic study. No action taken.
Dedicated right turn lane at Grogan's/Research Forest - Council discussed a dedicated right turn lane from from Grogan's Mill to Research Forest and requested staff investigate further. No action taken.
