In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October), Downtown HP merchants will be holding specials to fundraise for Bright PinkShop and give back to a great cause!

THE ART CENTER

"Voices and Visions IV" opened at The Art Center on Friday, September 12. The juried art exhibit will run through October 25, and is curated by Caren Helene Rudman. This exhibition of work expresses the concerns dealing with and surrounding cancer, as illness becomes a metaphor for facing mortality. Inspired by "Voices and Visions IV", The Art Center also presents an adjunct juried exhibition titled "Mothers & Daughters". This exhibit examines the mother-daughter relationship, featuring artwork by local and regional artists working in a variety of mediums. Juried by "Voices and Visions IV" curator, Caren Helene Rudman.
