Let's Talk About Governance
Did you know.....
  • All 43 Service Units within Girl Scouts of Michigan Shore to Shore are entitled to representation at the annual meeting (to be held on April 22, 2017 at Camp Anna Behrens) by way of delegates.
  • In order to participate in the voting process, a delegate must be elected before October 31, 2016.
  • Our council is divided into 6 regions. To download an updated jurisdiction map, please click here
  • Each region is also allowed to elect two girl delegates at the Fall Regional meeting, creating leadership opportunities for 12 Girl Delegates.
  • Two-thirds of the voting body must consist of delegates which are both adults and girls.
  • Some Service Units are entitled to two or more delegates. Communication from GSMISTS will let your Service Unit Director know how many delegates to elect, with the minimum being one adult.
Make sure to add the delegate election to your September or October Service Unit meeting agenda.  For questions or more information, please  contact us

Thank you,
Rosemary Mills
Delegate Chair

If you are interested in purchasing additional signs, please send us an email   and  include the Service Unit name, number of signs and point of contact (name and email address).

Please submit your order by September 30, 2016.   The signs will be available for pick up in mid-October.
