Be careful and have fun!!
Carver, Rossiter & Union Streets will be open for trick or treaters!

Many thanks to  Casella Construction, as they help us all have a happy and safe Halloween. They plan to be out of the Carver Street area by 4:00pm. Equipment will be moved  and consolidated to one or two areas for safer walking and driving. They are putting up a large flood light on Rossiter to light up the upper section and improve visibility. Markowski Excavating is also chipping in a big light stand to put at the head of Carver to brighten up the area between Union and Rossiter. Thanks to the Brandon Fire Dept and Markowskis for working together and handling the logistics.
Please be very careful as you walk the streets and road. Carver is still dirt and the surface may be uneven. Carry flashlights to avoid stumbling or falling.

Have fun and please be careful!!

2 EVENING WATER SHUTDOWNS PLANNED
PARK & CENTER STREET MONDAY, NOVEMBER 6TH
UNION STREET WEDNESDAY
NOVEMBER 8TH

At this time we are tentatively planning the following water shutdowns. We are trying to give as much advanced notice as possible. If the situation changes we will post the revised schedule on Brandonbuilds.com
Paper notices will be hand delivered to affected areas before the shutdowns occur.
Water will be off Monday, November 6th on Park & Center Streets from approximately 6:00pm-11:00pm for waterline work as part of the Route 7 Segment 6 road improvement project.
Water will be off Wednesday, November 8th on Union Street from Riteaid to Church Street from approximately 5:00pm-10:00pm for waterline work as part of the Route 7 Segment 6 road improvement project.
The shutdown may produce temporary discoloration but water quality should not be affected. We advise all users to schedule clothes washing and other cleaning projects at other times. Remember to also shut off your icemaker. Upon restoration of water service, please let your water run for 10-15 minutes before using or longer if it appears dirty or cloudy. The best place to flush your water is through an outside spigot or from your tub faucet.

KEEP THE MEMORY
TREE LIT
Sunday, November 26th

This year the memory tree will be located at the Town Hall. The Friends of The Town Hall have graciously allowed us to use their beautiful tree as our Memory Tree while work continues to be done in Central Park.

Brandon's Memory Tree will be lit at 4:00pm on Sunday, November 26th. Bulbs in memory of loved ones cost $1.00 each and help keep the tree lit all season -- brightening our darkest days. At the Tree Lighting Festivities, the Otter Valley Union High School Chorale, under direction of Patrick Roberts, and Brandon's Festival Singers, led by Gene Childers, will usher in the season. Singing begins at 3:30 pm at Brandon's Town Hall. Following the singing, a prayer will be offered and the Memory Tree will be lit for the season.

Purchase of Memory Light Bulbs in memory of loved ones can be made by sending
$1 per name to:
