  4. Discussion: Moderator - Crystal Morgan
    • Should a residential home be used entirely as a vacation rental?
    • Should there be a number of days/weeks limit on a vacation rental?
    • If permitted, should a vacation rental be allowed in all zoning districts or in just a few (i.e. R1, R2, R3)?
    • Comments on an issue not discussed pertaining to short term rentals

May 9 - Regular Agenda - Discussion on Rental Housing Inspections - Directed Attorney Bultje to draft an ordinance.

June 13 - Work session prior to a regular meeting - Discussed regulation of short term rentals, as well as, inspections. By consensus, Board
directed staff not to pursue a general inspection ordinance, but to draft a short term rental ordinance.

July 11 - Regular Agenda - carried a motion to table the discussion and to notice a special work session meeting on July 18 for an in depth discussion on short term rentals.

July 18 - Special Meeting Work session - 6:00-8:00pm

August 8 - Work session prior to Regular meeting - 5:30-7:30pm

September 12 - Work session prior to Regular meeting - 5:30-7:30pm

October 10 - Work session prior to Regular meeting - 6:00 - 7:00pm
