Tim Milgate Golf Ends its 12 Year Run
We'd like to offer a very heartfelt thank you to Deb Moyer, who, for more than a decade, spent countless hours planning and organizing the annual Tim Milgate Golf Tournament. The fundraiser celebrated its final year with a sold out event on Aug. 1. The event has raised well over $225,000 for Golisano Children's Hospital over the years, and that's not even counting the proceeds raised from this year's event.

Heart Center Video on Our New Blog
We're pleased to announce that we've launched a new blog to highlight patient stories, clinical services, research and education more extensively. We love our Facebook page, but the blog lets us explore stories, programs and services in greater depth, so it's easier to share what's going on in the hospital with our wonderful supporters. Visit GolisanoChildrensHospital/wordpress.com to see this interview with Jen Giblin, pediatric social worker at Golisano Children's Hospital's Children's Heart Center, along with photos from Tom Golisano's $20 million gift announcement, news stories about patients and programs and much more. Please see the Sandy's Friends Updates section for more on another new blog, launched by our Advancement team, to keep hospital supporters in the loop about opportunities to volunteer.

Three Cheers for the Uglies
Rain didn't deter folks from coming out to one of the biggest parties of the year, the Ten Ugly Men Festival. The event was a huge success yet again this year. Funds raised will go toward local charities, including Golisano Children's Hospital's brain tumor clinic and palliative care program. Thanks so much to the organizers, volunteers and participants for coming out to support our region's children.
